Farrah Kaisa
LCSW, Clinical Director and Founder
With over 15 years of experience in social services and mental health, I have worked in the juvenile court system, with refugees, and with adolescents in foster care and residential treatment.
Coming from a multicultural family with immigrant roots, I understand the beauty and challenges of navigating different worlds—and how those experiences shape our lives.

I have a soft spot for working with families of addicts, people in recovery, survivors of abuse, and minority populations. Shame often keeps people stuck, and I am passionate about creating a space where shame is replaced with compassion, strength, and hope.
My trauma-informed, person-centered approach blends traditional talk therapies (CBT, Mindfulness, Positive Psychology, Attachment-based) with experiential methods like art, sand tray, cinema, and dance. I am also trained in EMDR and TF-CBT.
Humor and authenticity are at the core of my work, and I tailor my approach to each individual’s needs, personality, and interests.
My Story
I believe most people are their own heroes—they simply need support, encouragement, and tools to walk through the dark. Outside of therapy, I am a mom of three teenage boys, a group fitness instructor for over a decade, and the founder of Motiv8, a volunteer outreach program for adolescent girls. I also enjoy teaching workshops to refugee communities. Whether through advocacy, teaching, or therapy, my passion is helping others discover their resilience and reclaim their joy.
