Accepting New Clients
Justin Marks
MSW, CSW
Everyone experiences ups and downs in their life, but sometimes those ups and downs feel less like rolling hills and more like a roller coaster. If life feels like it’s careening off the rails, you don’t have to face it without support.
My approach to therapy is built on the belief that you are the expert in your own life. In our sessions, I strive to create a warm, non-judgmental space where you can safely explore what’s holding you back. Together, we’ll uncover your strengths, define your goals, and develop practical strategies to help you build a life that feels authentic and fulfilling.
While I enjoy working with many different clients—including first-time therapy goers, autistic and neurodivergent individuals, and college students—I have a special passion for working with LGBTQ+ individuals.
As a Queer person myself, I understand the difficult experiences that can come when our identities are questioned in public spaces or our rights are debated in court. While we cannot always control external circumstances, therapy can help us focus on responding to challenges in ways that align with our personal values.
My Story
Originally from North Idaho, I moved to Utah Valley in 2016 and earned my Master of Social Work from UVU. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my partner and our rescue dog, as well as exploring new teas. If you’re a fellow tea enthusiast—whether black, green, or herbal—you’ll feel right at home in my office. I’m always trying new blends and love sharing my favorites.
