LCSW, Clinical Director and Founder
Life is hard. It just is. At some point, you may have felt like you've lost sight of who you are and what you want. Whether that's due to mental illness, trauma, low self-worth, relationship challenges, or unexpected life changes, sometimes you just need someone to help guide you and be present with you through the struggle.
I specialize in working with trauma, shame, perfectionism, ADHD, faith transitions, and LGBTQ+ issues. I believe that each individual has within them the ability to heal, grow, thrive, and become their true selves. Just as no two people are alike, there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. While I always use a person-centered approach, I also pull from a variety of different theories and modalities to best fit my client's needs.
I am trained in sand/play/expressive arts therapies, trauma therapies such as EMDR and Brainspotting, IFS and parts work, trauma-sensitive yoga, Mindfulness, and traditional talk therapies such as CBT, DBT, and ACT.
I believe that the therapeutic relationship is crucial in the healing process, and I strive to connect with each client and help them feel accepted in a non-judgmental and safe environment. You don’t have to continue to think that there is no hope, and you don’t have to go through this struggle alone.
My Story
I am the mother of four amazing kids and have been married to my best friend for over twenty years. In my free time, I love to learn, travel, hike, practice yoga, create art, play with my two German Shepherds (who I am obsessed with), and spend time with family and friends.
